Particulary, a very nice way to start 2017. To be complete honest I was attending only to see Carach Angren but, yet it was more than nice oportunaty to see Fleshgod Apocalypse as well. This concert has happened in Budapest, Hungary during one very cold season, it was like -20 C. But, never the less it was more than worth to see such a great bands and to spent one marvelous evening with the guys from Carach Angren…
I have never been of Fleshgod Apocalypse, but I have to say that their show was indeed interesing one. I am not familiar with their discography, but the impact on audience was quite great. Also, there were a lot of people especially on these Italians. Their show and their style has something unique. Its not the music that I will listen the entire day or evening, but its nice to see them live. The music is agressive, but yet with some more melodic and catchy vibes as well, plus they are indeed good and well prepared live band.
The show actually started with the band called Nightland. I didn’t even know that CA and FGA have the quest for this tour. Never the less, the band was quite ok for the beginning, but the crowd started to gathered actually right before Carach Angren has started to perform. This is only the second time that I have opportualty to watch Carach Angren and I have to say that their show was ineed a marevlous one, to be fair and right much better than one 4 years before. Everything was more than perfect: sound, visuals, list of the performing songs…More or less, they have went though their entire career playing from each album at least one song. One could enjoy very much in their offerings from There’s No Place Like Home, Lingering in an Imprint Haunting to the spectacular and epic closure with bombastic Bloodstains on the Captain’s Log. So, if you are a fan of Carach Angren you should definetely try to see them somehwere live.
