After 2 years of abandonment, it is finally time again for a metal festival.

If you missed the unique atmosphere – like we did – join us at METALFEST OPEN AIR 2022 in Pilsen/Czech Republic on June 2-6. Enjoy a wide variety of artists and metal genres, with top-class bands like Kreator, Running Wild, Within Temptation, Rage and Hypocrisy.

METALFEST was first held in 2010 and became more popular every year. After a 2-year Corona break, the organizers are confident that this year the amphitheater Lochotin will again become the place to be for all metalheads across Europe.

Did I say “amphitheater”? YES – in addition to the musical dramaturgy and the line-up, the ambience of the festival site certainly contributes to its success. The amphitheater is surrounded by parks on the grounds of the zoo and the botanical garden in the middle of the West Bohemian metropolis. Among other things, it stands out for its excellent view of the stage from every seat. The campground is only a few minutes’ walk away. Food and beverage services leave nothing to be desired.

And this is by far not everything – since the venue is located in the city of Pilsen there are numerous possibilities to pass the time. Shopping opportunities, restaurants and of course a tour of the famous brewery named after the city are all in walking distance.
