TYTAN The Return

Tytan is a UK-based band which was active quite a long time ago, but yet they are reformed to perform at Keep it True in 2012 and later on they have continued to record and play live, so they are now quite active.

Please, also could you present Tytan as the band to our readers since this is the very first time that we have a chance to have an interview with you?

Hi This is Big Kev, bass player for Tytan wishing everybody in Serbia our very best and hope once you’ve heard “Justice Served” we will have many new Serbian friends.

As a matter of fact you have a brand new record Justice: Served! so tell us something about a newer record? Could you present it from your point of view?

The new Tytan album “Justice Served” has been released by High Roller Records and follows our first album “Rough Justice” released in 1983.  Sorry it took so long 🙂

In fact, Justice: Served! Is your 2nd full-length so tell us something more about your previous album? Could you compare your new record with your previous release since your debut record was released back then in 1985?

Tytan were lucky enough to be part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, and to anybody who knows this style of music and who like bands Iron Maiden/Saxon/Angel Witch will I hope, like “Rough Justice” and the new album “Justice Served”

When it comes to Tytan do you have any live shows in mind soon? Are you active actually when it comes to live performances?

Yes we have a European tour covering Scotland, Uk, Belgium, France and Germany during Autumn, more dates  are to be arranged and Tytan are always looking for more shows as we are primarily a live act.

If you like to recommend Tytan to some people what references you would like to drown to some other bands and styles?

We have been likened to a mixture of Whitesnake and Black Sabbath, so hopefully that will give you an idea where we are coming from.

As a matter of fact Tytan members were involved in many other bands so could you tell us something about those bands?

Bands such as AC/DC, Michael Schenker, DIO, Empire etc

After 32 years you are finally come back with your latest release so could you tell us why was there such a great period of silence when it comes to Tytan?

Tytan reformed in 2012 to play Keep It True…due to a huge demand to see us live, so have been playing gigs ever since.
